Aleksey Chistjakov is a virtuoso of abstraction, the artist up to subtleties who have studied all the whims of the picturesque texture, the nature of a colorful surface. He is a gourmet of pointlessness and the philosopher opening senses in nuances of mobile monotony of alive moire of his canvases - in the new project he is paradoxical in his attitude to himself and to an abstract method of creativity chosen by him, now already more than twenty years ago.
The painting is built on the basis of small formats - "bricks" of all the plan - is built in the huge blocks in aggregate representing a fragment of a certain extensive encyclopedia on archeology of visuality.
